The Hidden Camera Network That’s Helping Conserve The Jungle
Conservationists at La Selva Biological Station in Costa Rica are getting help from the animals themselves in documenting the rainforest’s incredible variety of species. Park managers set up motion activated cameras to capture photographs of the forest’s inhabitants in order to document the health of the environment. Thanks to the data processing capabilities at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, conservationists have a faster way to categorize, summarize and share the big data.
