How One Couple Conquered Distance With Art
When Seok Li first met Danbi Shin, he said it felt like “spring melting winter ice.” But when Danbi moved to New York, leaving Seok back in Seoul, the couple had to find another way to close the distance. They settled on an art project. As Shinliart (an amalgam of their last names), the two created “Half & Half”—a photography project that depicts the couple in similar spaces at the same time. They say, “the power of love transcends time and space,” and no one better exemplifies that than Shin and Li.
