In a previous life, Desiree DeLong worked as an ICU nurse at Duke University. The job provided financial stability, but it wasn’t what she ultimately wanted to do. So she packed up her Subaru Impreza and headed to the bright lights of New York City to pursue her true passion: metalsmithing. By combining her dedication to detail with a keen sense of human anatomy, Delong has forged a career as an independent artist.
