Dub Master Med: Meet the French Voice of Eddie Murphy

Med Hondo has dubbed many films into French. While he’s also an actor, director, producer and filmmaker, the Parisian is particularly adept at voice overs. For Hondo, dubbing an actor’s voice means immersing himself in the character fully to allow the film’s audience “to be a spectator in its own language.” Sometimes, the intensity can cause him to sweat profusely and even lose a pound or two during a dubbing session.
