Ultra-endurance mountain bike champion Rebecca Rusch is no stranger to grueling cross country trips, but her recent expedition across the Ho Chi Minh trail tested her in ways she had never before experienced. Besides becoming the first person to ride the entire length of the 1,200 mile trail, Rusch was chasing another, more personal goal—to find the site where her father’s plane was shot down over 40 years ago.
