After the Flood: Documenting Resilience in West Virginia
At one point, Mark Trent was living the dream, creating commercials in New York City. Still, he always felt his home state of West Virginia calling him back, and one day he acted on that call, packed up his Subaru Impreza and moved back to pursue personal projects. Tragically, a historic flood devastated his hometown on the very day he was to move back. Fortunately for Trent, the circumstances only strengthened his resolve and allowed him to see the uncommon determination, kindness and spirit of the very people he intended to document.
